Pilgrimage of Peace

Can you say Maklubeh?

That is the name of the Bedouin Delicacy that the participants in the upcoming Pilgrimage of Peace will be tasting when they meet with the Bedouin community in the Negev Desert in Israel.

The Pilgrimage of Peace will be led by Cantor Steve Puzarne, who has gathered an intimate group of Interfaith leaders to travel to Israel and Palestine to experience and support the good work of countless individuals and organizations of all faiths.

I am very proud of Steve, because he has taken the ball and run with the idea to this great group of peace leaders from LA who truly want to make a difference.

My heart is filled with gratitude for this group as they are the physical manifestation of my own dream to bring people from outside of Israel-Palestine to experience something other than the one sided fear and violence from these parts, which are blasted across the various mass media. As a long time peace activist, this group proves to me that peace IS growing.

Steve has set up a blog for the trip, which you can visit daily to keep track of the cool things going on. The blog address is: http://pilgrimageofpeace.blog.com/search/
